IT Sales and Marketing Assistant / Brazil

Mara Systems Ltd seeks a resourceful and motivated sales and marketing assistant with focus about Brazil. This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a young, ambitious and successful company that leads the way in the marketing and sales of an international server appliance market.

As an IT Sales and Marketing Assistant you will be a key member of the MARA Systems Ltd sales and marketing team (in-house). Your key responsibility will be supporting the sales team for Brazil market, conducting market research, follow-up and develop leads from the point that they are generated. This will entail, telesales, market research, sending out relevant initial information and qualifying and managing leads to the point where they can be passed on to a senior sales person.

The role may extend to a number of responsibilities within the sales process and beyond:

• Account management, keeping in touch with customers on a regular basis, ensuring they've received the support they require and in general are satisfied
• You will be working with both reseller / distribution partners as well as targeting end user customers in both the private and public sectors in Brazil
• Closing the initial stage of qualification of opportunities
• Lead generation, may share in telesales and telemarketing activities
• Positive approach to life and work "anything is possible" attitude
• Pro-active and flexible
• Multi-task oriented
• General Admin tasks
• Maintain CRM database and templates
• Support the sales team with campaigns
• Support Sales team for Brazil

Ideally, you will have:
• 1 - 2 + years’ experience in a B2B market, IT sales or marketing role
• A track record of success in telesales and market research
• Evidence of strong customer focus and understanding
• The ability to learn and then speak with confidence about a range of products
• High levels of enthusiasm, drive and persistence to achieve targets
• General knowledge of IT and ambition to learn (servers, networking and IP technologies)
• Able to work on your own and in a team
• A flexible attitude towards work
• Achieving targets through targeted campaigns and objectives
• Involved in cross selling across the clients portfolio
• Good business acumen
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (well written and spoken)
• Strong presentation skills
• Self motivated, enthusiastic and tenacious attitude
• Organised and self disciplined
